So Thursday is the “big day”, I guess.
Mike got a call from Liberty about a CSR job that he applied for. He has a phone interview on Thursday afternoon.
I hope that it goes awesomely. I hope that he gets it. I hope that he can burn his stupid vest and leave the ashes on
his manager’s stupid head.
Woah. Way too far. But I do really hope he gets to leave his yucky job.
Also, I just got an e-mail asking if I could interview at 9:00 on Thursday morning for an HR position.
I already interviewed for it and didn’t get it once… I’m going to cry of embarrassment if I interview
again and don’t get it again! I’ll try to wait until I’m out of the conference room to let the tears flow, though.
Dad would tell me that I need to look at this as “Just another opportunity to trust in the Lord”…
And he would be right. I hope and pray that God will fill Mike and myself up with His spirit.
I hope that we will be content no matter where we work. No matter what our bank accounts look like.
So much easier said than done.
Here’s to a nervous stomach until Thursday!
PS- How in the world am I supposed to respond to questions like, “Have you ever been in a position where you had to relay an unpopular decision to someone else?”
Uhm…. One time at Hallmark, they didn’t order the Webkinz that everyone wanted… so… sure…. There was that time. ;)
